The Jive Aces
Hello there,
It's been a couple of months since the last newsletter due to our crazy schedule so as we're back in the country for a few minutes, we thought we'd jot down the latest news and upcoming highlights.
So far this year we've played in Spain, France, Sicily, Ireland, USA, Lithuania and we still have a trip to Ireland and the USA left to go as well as a ton of dates closer to home.
In case you didn't know we were featured in Hello Magazine (yes, again!) for our appearance at the Queen Charlottes Ball for the end of the London Season.

USA Winter Tour
Right at the end of October we'll be winging our way back to the good ol' U S of A for some more recording (see below)
We'll be taking in the Cicada Club, opening for a 1930's style pulp story reading, heading back to Pasadena and then a three band special at Brixton South Bay in Redondo Beach all in between recording sessions for our new album.
On the way home we're stopping off at Washington DC for two shows at the Dulles Hilton and Spanish Ballroom.

Louis Prima Centenary
To celebrate this we have embarked on a very special project including some brand new recordings of Louis Prima classics featuring both the legendary Keely Smith and Louis and Keely's daughter, Toni Elizabeth Prima. We've also written a brand new song in honour of Louis and Keely and the mixes are sounding great!
We are also putting together a mini documentary about the legacy of Louis Prima's music including some very familiar faces and the first interview is already "in the can". You'd be surprised at the sheer number and different types of artists that Louis Prima has positively influenced through his music.
