It's been a few weeks since the last newsletter so quite a lot has happened and quite a lot is about to happen too so read on and be thrilled...

The Jive Aces have been all over the place recently (no change there then!) including concerts up and down the country from Lancaster to London and everywhere in between!
We've also been doing a lot of concerts in various town centres around the country for the "Truth About Drugs" campaign. You can find out more about the campaign by visiting www.drugfreeworld.org.
Next door neighbour to BBC Radio presenter Harry King who's show we appeared on recently also baked a special cake in honour of our latest album and very nice it was too (see the pre-eaten pic <--)!
Our sellout show at the 100 club went down a storm and we had some special guests (see feature below).
The Jive Aces Facebook Page has nearly doubled the number of "Fans" in the past couple of weeks so if you are not yet connected up then click HERE to become a "fan"! Be the first to find out about breaking news and new videos etc.
We also have a Twitter account so click HERE to follow us there too (there's so many of these things now it's hard to keep them all updated!). So many social networks, so little time...

We'll be releasing a single soon but we're not telling you which song yet and we'll also be filming a video to go along with it too.
Recently the Jive Aces have been added to the play list in Frankie and Benny's restaurants and we've also heard that we are being played in Cafe Rouge too so we are getting about a bit! Let us know if you've heard us anywhere else.

We have a had a host of special guests perform with the Jive Aces recently including the Flirtinis singing the Andrews Sisters "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" (below) who's next appearance will be at the Pigalle Club, London on Friday the 22nd May and boogie woogie boy wonder Cody Lee on the piano at the 100 Club to Carmen Ghia from the Hotrods at the Big Jive in Nottingham last week. We are heading back to both the Europe and the USA soon so please help us spread the word.
This side of the Atlantic we'll be taking in Germany, Italy, France and Hungary and then it's straight on a plane and a quick hop over the pond to Washington DC and California for two weeks.

Tickets have already started selling for Summertime Swing on the 2nd August at Saint Hill Manor in Sussex and there are still some left at the discounted price of £12.50 (plus booking fee) from www.seetickets.com, after that the tickets will be going up a bit (to £15 in advance) so get yours today but hurry because only the first 100 tickets are available at this price!
Keely Smith and Toni Elizabeth Prima will be returning as special guests and there are more TBC very soon.

This Friday we return to the Willow Arts Centre in Corby with DJ Jazzy Geof
Then it's off to the Thameside Theatre in Grays, Essex on Saturday.
Sunday sees us return to Botley Hill Farmhouse with DJ Nick Kirby spining the discs before, after and in between sets.
We also have a couple of date changes to look out for; the show at the BAWA in Bristol has moved from 17th May to the 24th May (and now have Crazy Jay as a special guest) and the Pigalle Club that was on the 30th May is not on and we are doing the 22nd May and the 4th July and the 25th July instead.
