Derry Jazz Festival 2006

This year we returned to Derry in Northern Ireland for the fourth time and this year we can definaitely say that the festival was the best ever. It has grown to compete with long running jazz festivals around the world in just five short years.

This year was very special for us as we were given the International Music Award by the Mayor of Derry. We also played for a Red Cross fundraiser which raised three times more money for the charity than last year. Every gig was packed to the brim and beyond and during the festival we knotched up six concerts, four radio shows, two TV appearances, several newspaper shoots and the award ceremony. And that was all in four days!
